I'm fascinated by the intersection of simplicity and complexity. Ambition and contentment. Discovering the joy and freedom of my intended self, and not the self I've determined myself to be or thought I needed to be. I'm looking for that original creation. I'm reclaiming her and bringing her back.

what obedience holds

Energized and excited. I'm on the mend and so thrilled about going a whole new route - one that I've never stopped to consider before. How blessed it is to dwell in obedience. There's no way of fully knowing what that obedience holds.

Gwenyth Paltrow, you enamour me. You're completely fashionable and chic, you're married to a musician, you're a doting mother and a champion of health and well-being. And you're talented, unique and effortless.

I've been pondering what someone said about witnessing the purposelessness of Western women. Take that for what it's worth, it caught my attention. Even in my own life I've systematically made decisions based on financial gain and security. And now I'm at an impasse in my journey. This critical hour is asking me to become the woman I'm meant to be and leave behind busyness and purposelessness. This is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.

It becomes a reality after it doesn't even matter anymore. That's the beauty of life and of letting go.

Words from SPB today...
"Two things are happening right now: One is that the answer is out there somewhere, ready and waiting to be found. Two is that there are so many things that need to be removed before number one can happen." This was before she even knew an ounce of this section of our story. I thank You, Lord, for placing key people in my life at this hour. I praise You for SDH, E(L)S, NI, ABM, KA,TL and SPB, with whom I couldn't have survived.

Love. How it brings forth such bittersweet emotions. So much joy, and equal amounts of pain. But oh how God has every right to break my spouse on my back. For greater love has no woman than she that would lay down her life for her husband.
