transition

The holiday season marks the beginning of my efforts to transition myself to New York. I'm absolutely looking forward to getting mentally prepared for a new job, home and city. I'm certain that the remainder of November and the months of December, January and February will come and go in the blink of an eye. I'm praying that I use this time wisely in order to leave with the right mindset, with the right perspective and with the right expectations. I thank Jesus for giving me so much insight into contentment. I do not want my life to become about wealth, which only leads to pride, arrogance and vanity. I want my life to full of faith, hope and especially love. I'm so excited about what that city holds, and I'm equally excited about the amazing reality of leaving with someone who absolutely mesmerizes me. I'm looking forward to the art of living in New York City. I want to be a student of its atmosphere, people and landscape. There's gold for me hidden in those skyscrapers. There's a wealth of experience, memories and further preparation for all the lies waiting for me to uncover. Heaven is a little island named Manhattan.

manifesto

Every revolution has a manifesto. I have begun to collect my ideas, thoughts and perspective into one central place. I know not yet where it will lead or what it will be used for. I'm excited to follow its evolution as I let it grow on its own. The power of applying a pen to paper is unimaginable. I've waited long enough to not engage in this amazing process of seeing my manifesto become a revolution. I have along my mentors, Dior and Dariaux.
