I have a love-hate relationship with my emotions. I'm learning how to cultivate them to be my slave rather than be led by them as my master. For the pleasure of those around me and for the tasks set before me.

I was headed into trouble. But then You intervened. Pursuing what I didn't love. Clutching comfort, relinguishing Peace. But You came along at the perfect moment. Destroying gods. Rebuilding love. Bestowing gifts. Speaking through the flesh of a stranger.

veil

What would I have done if it wasn't for Your love, the love that tore the veil inside my heart? What would I have become if it wasn't for Your blood, the blood You gave for all on the cross? All for love, my Jesus, did it all for love.

April has dawned, and a fresh wave of anxiousness is invading my mind and body. But I refuse to give in and allow fear to guide my emotions. Everything is in perfect working order. God is the mastermind behind this ordeal; the Glorious Gardener who has planted this within us, watered and has caused it to flourish. He always comes through. He always prevails. He will not be shaken or deterred from that which He desires. And we are hiding in the shadow of His perfected work. Everything's going to be more than fine. It's going to be amazing.
