Love

He is our greatest reward, our point of reference and our primary focus. We can love all things, endure all things and hope for all things because of Jesus. He is the ultimate Lover and His is the ultimate Love story. That He would bear such a load as to weigh His innocence down with our infirmities, selfishness, cruelty and dismissal of His gifts; that He would separate Himself from His Father in order to tear the veil that kept us from entering in is too much to comprehend.

He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him, nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him. Like one from whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53
